What To Do If You Cannot Find Your Driver

Although we always try to be on time, there might be occasions beyond our control when a small delay can occur. Please allow five minutes’ margin, and if your transfer has not arrived by that time, please call the toll-free line (+420) 800 870 888 or the Prague phone (+420) 222 554 211. If you call from abroad or from a mobile phone, first dial the country code +420 before the phone number.

Do you guarantee the time of departure to / from the airport?

We cannot guarantee an exact time. The maximum waiting time for transportation from the airport to the centre of Prague is 30 minutes, and the transfer time may take up to one hour. In the case of transportation to the airport, we guarantee a pick-up time in the range of +/- 15 minutes and a maximum transfer time to the airport of one hour from the time of pick-up.

Recommended pickup time

Due to the nature of shared transport, which can have a longer travel time than our private transport, we strongly advise that you book your pickup time at least 3 hours prior to flight departure time.

How far in advance should I order a shuttle?

Shuttle from / to Prague Airport can be ordered any time, but at least two hours in advance and a maximum of 12 months before your date of travel.

Wish to change, cancel, or book return transport?

Just give us a call, email us at [email protected] or book online at our website.

Do you provide transportation 24 hours a day?

Yes, our shuttles run whenever you order them, but you must make a booking during our normal business hours from 7 am until midnight for early morning pickups.

Are the shuttle fares valid for the entire area of Prague?

No. The fare is valid only within a range of 35km from the airport, which covers almost all of Prague and all Prague hotels. Our online booking system will easily determine if your order falls outside of this area, and we will notify you of this fact during the booking process.

I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. What should I do?

As on most occasions, this is usually down to a problem with your spam filter. Please check your spam folder, as this usually seems to solve the problem in the majority of cases. Please also check if you entered your e-mail address correctly. If this does not help, please contact us again, and we will send you a new confirmation e-mail.

Do you transfer children? Do infants count?

Infants and children do count as one person. Under Czech law and for your safety, we must use baby seats for infants and children (aged from 0 months to 8 years). We strongly recommend that you inform us (tick the baby seat option on the booking form) when making your booking. Children’s seats are provided free of charge.

When and how will I pay for the transportation?

When paying by cash or card to the driver, please pay all at once (including your return trip) after you arrive at the hotel. Once you have paid, the driver will give you a “transport voucher”, which you will then give to the driver on the return journey instead of money. If you prefer not to pay for your return transfer at once with your first journey, there is no problem; you can pay for each trip separately. If you opt to pay online in advance, our driver will be automatically informed, so you will not need to do anything else.

Do I need to pay in CZK currency?

No, you can pay in any currency selectable during your online reservation, which includes currencies like EUR, GBP and USD.

Can I pay by credit card upon arrival?

Yes, you can. You are also welcome to pay online using your credit or debit card, which is much more comfortable regarding other passengers travelling by the same shuttle bus, as they have to wait for your transaction to be accepted, even if the transaction takes less than two minutes.

What happens if my outbound flight is delayed?

Your driver will be informed and will collect you at the new time at no extra charge.

Am I allowed to smoke during the transfer from / to the airport?

No. All of our vehicles are strictly non-smoking. But there is always time to have a cigarette before boarding your shuttle.

Where do we meet our driver? How do we recognize our driver?

Our driver will be holding a very clear orange card with our company logo and the lead passenger name printed on it. Click here for more information and photos.

Do you guarantee money back, compensation or refunds?

Yes. If we are unable to supply the promised service, or the service is not according to our terms and conditions, you will receive your money back or compensation. If no driver is waiting for you, please contact us ASAP to resolve the situation.

Should I tip the driver?

If you are happy with the service, it is customary to tip the driver about 10%. However, our shared shuttle service is low-cost transport, and drivers understand that fact, so tips are not widely expected – rather, it is entirely at your discretion.

Can I have a receipt?

Please ask our driver. If you tell us in advance, we can also prepare you a tax invoice (mostly for business and corporate customers).

What if I have extra-large luggage?

If you are carrying extra-large luggage, please let us know in advance, as we may have to send a larger car. Generally, there is no extra charge.

Do you offer shuttle transport routes besides airport routes?

We will take you anywhere you like, but we provide only a private taxi/minibus service outside of the Prague district. For an exact price quote, please send us an email.

I need to change a booking - what should I do?

Just follow the link provided in the confirmation e-mail and amend your details online or contact us.

Insurance?

Prague Airport Transfers sro operates under full public liability insurance, as do all of our suppliers. We do, however, recommend that you hold a valid insurance policy for the duration of your trip.

Is our shuttle service cheaper than an ordinary Prague airport taxi or shuttle?

Yes, our prices are definitely lower compared to a regular airport taxi or regular airport shuttle.
